ROSIE & MISSY

| *ROSIE & MISSY* IN A NUTSHELL: 10 month old sister (possibly same mother, different father) littermates that were surrendered to a kill shelter by their owner. Both are adjusting well to their new temporary foster home in Phoenix. Sweet & friendly girls. | |||
| When Rosie (the "white sister") hit the e-list at the shelter, we were contacted to see if we'd be interested in helping her. We were provided with initial photos and a video ... but appearing in the photos and videos with Rosie was another dog. When we asked about the second dog, we were told that she was, in fact, Rosie's sister and the two dogs had come into the shelter together.
It is our strict policy that we never take one dog and leave another one behind when they come into the shelter together. If a dog happens to get kenneled together with another dog once in the shelter, that's different, but when two dogs come in together from the same home and/or owner, we cannot save one and leave the other behind to die, simply because of their breed and/or color. We asked for an additional video, which the shelter happily provided.
And so, we agreed to take both Rosie (the white) and her sister, Missy. They will be picked up at the shelter by our faithful friends, Chuck and Jon, of Husky Camp and will be transported to Phoenix at the first opportunity. UPDATE 9/18: New video from the shelter!
UPDATE 9/19: The girls were picked up at the shelter this morning!
UPDATE 9/23: The girls are on their way to Phoenix thanks to Chuck and Jon from Husky Camp and our faithful volunteer driver, Betty.
Adoption fee $375.00/each (will be placed separately).
